Hoosier

Hoosier is a very gentle, loving, and extremely loyal dog. Although she is naturally quiet and calm, she is always the first to detect “danger”. Whether it’s a small animal in our backyard, a stranger outside, or an unusual noise, she makes it known immediately that OUR house is HER domain. In addition to her regular diet, she's been known to snack on squirrels, chipmunks, rabbits, birds, and even turtles. On the other hand, Hoosier is an absolute gem around our small children. Everything from belly rubs to ear pulling to attempted horseback rides are all part of the daily activities our kids enjoy with her!

Overall, Hoosier had the fortune of growing up under Chunk’s guidance, has also acted as a mother-figure and mentor to our other DDB Smalls, and was an excellent mama to the pups from her 1st litter. These experiences have enabled Hoosier to become very well-rounded and will undoubtedly help her in the days and weeks ahead as her 2nd litter arrives.
